Role Purpose
Regional Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing and maintaining Regional Project. Effectively Manage the End-to-End Operations of the Assigned Region, Ultimately Responsible for Project Performance and Completion within the Assigned project. Accountable for end-to-end implementation of all project deliverables within the region. Regional Project Manager must be based in Target Location (Region HQ)
Duties and responsibilities
- Effectively managed Coordinators and Administrative staff who manage FME’s and their availability in the network across a 24/7 network and resource availability model.
- Planned work, schedule, action and track issued work orders.
- Monitoring of teams working hours.
- Provide ongoing and precise reporting to client, customer and all internal departments that you liaise with.
- Oversee allocated operations to ensure client-satisfaction, project continuity, and internal consistency.
- Pass on critical and operational information to system users, field tech’s and provide ongoing technical and operational support to teams working in the network.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal technical training and upskilling on an ongoing basis.
- Develop project schedules, plans, and processes, and ensure they live up to company and project standards.
- Adhere to and
maintain commercial budget and expenditure planning and allowable.
Job Requirements

- Project Management qualification an advantage.
- Technical tertiary qualifications an advantage.
- Valid South African driver’s license.
- Clear criminal
record.
Required skills
- Familiarity with the applications and interfaces associated with MTN and Huawei equipment.
- Ability to work in a high-paced and dynamic environment with many personalities, cultures and agendas.
- Effective time management is a critical requirement.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several on-going deliverables and targets.
- Skilled communicator, including face-to-face, written, and verbal.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision making.
- This position is not a Monday to Friday, 8 to 5 positions! Weekend and after-hours work will be a necessity.

project delivery within a complex working environment.
Required experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Telecoms Field Management and within Corrective Maintenance preferred. Previous Field experience within the telecom’s maintenance environment would be very beneficial.
- Knowledge of specialized testing equipment (Site Master, 3ZAlligner, Pim Test, Power meters etc.)
- Confidently computer literate and able to communicate proficiently and professionally in English in written and verbal form.
- Overall professional standard of conduct and presentation.
- Knowledge and experience with relevant Telecoms Sector mobile smart phone-based software and communication systems.
- RF/RAN as well as MW/transmission knowledge and experience.
- Telecoms sector Huawei and/or Ericsson equipment knowledge and experience.
- Fault
finding, troubleshooting and experience in relevant fault analyses and repair
within Wireless Telecoms site infrastructure, fiber, electrical and power
supply units.
