Role Purpose
We are seeking highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinators to support Huawei’s MTN and Telkom project in South Africa. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations, timely delivery of equipment, and efficient coordination across multiple stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations for Huawei’s MTN and Telkom project.
- Oversee the movement, storage, and distribution of telecom equipment and materials.
- Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and project teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and prepare logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with Huawei’s standards, project timelines, and local regulations.
- Resolve logistics issues and provide proactive solutions to minimize delays.
- Support project managers with planning and execution of logistics strategies.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in telecom or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems.
- Knowledge of South African customs, import/export regulations, and local transport networks is an advantage.
