Role Purpose
We are seeking skilled and dedicated RF Installation Team Members to join Huawei’s MTN, Telkom, and Vodacom project in South Africa. This role is critical in ensuring the successful installation, integration, and commissioning of RF equipment to support network expansion and optimization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform installation, integration, and commissioning of RF equipment for Huawei’s telecom projects.
- Ensure proper cabling, antenna alignment, and equipment configuration.
- Conduct site surveys with the use of Smart Aligner and prepare installation reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to meet project timelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site.
- Adhere to Huawei’s quality standards, safety protocols, and client requirements.
- Provide technical support and feedback to optimization teams.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Must have Rope Access Level 2 (Specified Loads up to 100Kg) or Rope access Practitioner Level 2 abseiler
- Fall Arrest Level 2
- Mechanical Rigging will be an advantage
- Preferred experience and knowledge of Huawei ISDP Platform
- Proven experience in RF installation for telecom networks (2G/3G/4G/5G).
- Must have specialized tool experience for 3z and Smart aligners and proven knowledge
- Knowledge of RF equipment, antennas, cabling, and site integration processes.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within South Africa for site installations.
- Valid driver’s license is essential (B, EB, EC1)
